I was commissioned to design a poster for Mt. Joy’s Orange Blood tour, specifically their 3 night Austin show.

These are my favorite kind of commissions where the band is super cool with letting me take the creative lead. I designed this with inspiration from my dad, he’s a real vaquero from Guanajuato, Mexico. Every time we visit my dad loves to go to the market in search for his next new pair of boots. His childhood home was dusty and full of desert plants, it makes sense he adjusted well in Texas where he could continue wearing cowboy boots and feel right at home.
